If you are ever traveling on I-40 (what used to be Route 66), and you are looking for the greatest Mexican food near Winslow, Arizona, then you must try the Casa Blanca Cafe. It is located near the La Posada Hotel, and some noisy railroad tracks, and looks like a hole-in-the-wall-type of place. Yes, it is small, but it is clean and has been in business for over 50 years which means they must be doing something right. Anyway, my wife and I tried their food a couple years ago and have been stopping by there whenever we get a chance. I personally recommend their chicken enchiladas, but I have also heard that the chimichungas are to die for. You can find more reviews of Casa Blanca at Yelp.
